Become an Arden Angel

The Arden Youth Choir is a growing girls’ choir and we are on the look-out for new talent to join the ranks!
You don’t need to have an extensive singing background, but be able to sing to a reasonable standard, be enthusiastic and be a girl aged 10 – 18yrs.

You will need to be able to attend the majority of our scheduled weekly evening rehearsals, and be available for most of our performance opportunities throughout the year.

Rehearsals are on a different day each week i.e. – Monday (week 1) Tuesday (Week 2) Wednesday (Week 3) Thursday (Week 4) Friday (Week 5)  between 6.00pm and 7.30pm at Christ Church, Carr Road, Nelson, Lancashire.

The rewards for this commitment are great. The Arden Youth Choir (Arden Angels) offers a varied repertoire that is both challenging and enjoyable. 
The social life of the choir is also very important, in order to create the vibrant team environment that allows us to sing, blend and express ourselves as a group.

Prospective new singers are invited to an informal audition with our conductor Susan Eames prior to being asked to join the choir. At the audition, prospective singers would be expected to perform a short pre-prepared piece.
